Summary
The Senior HR Manager will oversee the HR team and provide strategic directions across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. You will be closely partnered with leadership to ensure the company remains a top employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, talent acquisition strategies, and onboarding programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Partner with leadership to develop succession planning, training, and career path programs.
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans with a focus on maintaining a positive and inclusive culture.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, including California employment regulations.
- Develop and track HR metrics to analyze trends and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to create a respectful and empowering workplace.
- Manage employee benefits, payroll coordination, and compensation strategy in partnership with finance.
- Coach and mentor HR team members to strengthen HR expertise across the organization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives on organizational development and change management strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or SHRM-SCP a plus).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Expertise in California labor laws and HR compliance best practices.
- Proven ability to implement HR strategies that enhance company culture and performance.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
