We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst. This person will be responsible for providing accurate financial reports to the operations and finance department. Analyze and gather information, assemble spreadsheets, and compile budget and income statement forecasts into reports. Evaluate and interpret detailed financial data, research, and financial information to help the company make well-informed decisions and monitor economic movements.

To be a successful candidate, you should have proven knowledge of financial forecasting, calculating financial and profitability ratios, and corporate finance models. Attention to detail, the ability to identify data patterns, expert problem-solving logic, and good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.), considering the company’s goals and financial standing
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  • Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models
  • Based on sound analysis, identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
  • Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
  • Well-informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
