We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate, who will be responsible for receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and company policy, assessing stock for damages, and keeping a concise inventory record. Accurately filling customer orders and operating stock management vehicles/tools, such as a forklift to move, load, and unload various goods in the warehouse.
To be a successful candidate, you must be hard-working, organized, and detail oriented. You should be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing stock and have experience operating a forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise records and organize all inventory and supplies
- Inspect all stock for damages and keep records of damages
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipments and warehouse tasks, as required, i.e., sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing, with strong attention to detail
- Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment to comply with OSHA Hazardous Material requirements
- Process product packages, prepare orders for shipment, and ship orders accurately to exceed customers’ expectations for quality and timely delivery
- Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments
- Check, verify and fill customer invoices
- Count stock and keep inventory records
- Operate stock management tools, i.e., a forklift
- Maintain safety, quality control, productivity, professional behavior, prompt attendance, and overtime requirements standard to position
- Perform all tasks as directed by the leadership team
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience in working in warehouse settings
- At least one year of experience working with inventory software
- Ability to operate a Forklift and a forklift certification
- Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
- Ability to lift or move heavy products
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- The ability to be a team player with good communication
